Various options for today but I’ve gone with the...

Fiat 125.

Usually this was a boxy, utterly ordinary car which was at the top of the Fiat range in the late 60s and early 70s. It continued in production under licence, most notably in Poland, until the early 1980s.

But they weren’t all utterly ordinary. At that time there were rather fewer rules and regulations and you could more or less make what you liked and do so at a profit even in small numbers.

So meet Samantha. The Vignale Samantha was a 125 based coupé sold in the 60s. This one has its headlights up and ready for action, in repose they leaned back as in the Miura. They look better up.
